Transfering cash to bank

I have $130 on my Apple Cash card which I attempted to transfer to my bank (Wells Fargo), specifically my checking account. When I do, the transfer fails and I get a message indicating: "Services Unavailable. Services are currently unavailable. Please try again later." I have re entered my routing and bank account info 4 times, I know the routing # is correct because it recognizes the bank as Wells Fargo. I don't believe I've made any error with the bank account number either (it's a checking account), I check it over and over (and in fact you have to enter it twice). I have used Apple cash in Messenger to both send and receive money so I know that part is functioning correctly. I get to the point where I double-click the side button on the phone and successfully get through face ID each time, then the message appears.

I am using an iPhone X with IOS 11.2.5. I have read on other threads about restarting the phone but this didn't work for me. I just updated the IOS yesterday, it didn't work before or after the update.

Anyone else experience this? Anyone know of a fix?

Thanks..Larry

Found the answer on another thread. here's what I did:

  1. Went to the Wallet settings and turned off Apple Cash (seemed dicey since it said it would delete my card but that the balance would be preserved on my iCloud account)
  2. powered phone off
  3. Powered phone back on
  4. Went to Wallet in settings and turned Apple Cash back on. Went through a couple of set up steps and then my card re appeared with the full balance (phew!) and remembered my bank info.
  5. Opened Apple cash and successfully transferred funds to bank.
