Received a suspicious email for transaction charges. Is this spoof attempt?

I received an email yesterday that there were suspicious transaction activity on my Apple account .However, I have not used that Apple login for a long time or for many years. Sent an email to Apple links to report suspicious activity or abuse.

Dont know if a live person will receive communication.

What do we do when criminals attempt to access our Apple payment information to make unauthorized transactions? It appears my payment info is now unavailable.

Plus , why must we register our credit cards on Apple? Criminals try hacking the payment information. Any assistance would be appreciated.😁

A long as you didn't use any links in the email and entered your id and password you should be ok. If you did login change the account's password - your full card number won't show on your account, neither will its CVV code.

You don't have to.
