How to reinstall El Capitan "Unavailable Error"

I have run into this problem in the past with mountain lion and once I purchased through the app store I could install on the machine I was setting up. I am having the same issue now with a macbook pro mid 2011 since I dont have El Capitan associated with my apple account it gives me 'Currently Unavailable Try again Later" error and can not reinstall. Any idea on how to resolve I am stuck right now.

Reinstall El Capitan My Mac slowed way down until it finally would not boot at all. Now it sends me directly to the disk utility. After many reboots and running first aid multiple times, I finally erased my disk. Now I am trying to reinstall El Capitan. After entering my Apple ID and Password, it pauses, and gives me the following error message - "This item is temporarily unavailable" "Try again later" After more than a dozen tries over two days, it seems unlikely that it is "temporarily unavailable", but rather something else. Does anyone have any ideas on this?

Trying to reinstall El Capitan but installation failed RE: MacBook Pro Mid 2012 I reset to factory settings and Lion OS. I then attempted to install El Capitan which was the latest version it would allow. The install failed and I had to again erase the hard drive. However this time it’s trying to reinstall El Capitan and not Lion and since the El Capitan installed failed it’s not installing. Help! It’s horrible to be isolated without a computer. I would appreciate any assistance. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
