Auto correct is offering Spanish options while on English keyboard and vise versa

I have 2 keyboards set on my iPhone 8 iOS 11.2.1 along with the emoji keyboard. When typing in English on the English keyboard, I often get Spanish options for autocorrect/auto-fill. I’m not accidentally switching keyboards like other posts suggest, and I do not forcibly type Spanish words while using my English keyboard out of laziness to avoid touching the globe to properly switch the languages. If I did forcibly type in the wrong language, I fear that the phone’s internal English library would try to update itself with Spanish words as though they were custom/learned English words, but it seems that it has done that FOR BOTH LANGUAGE KEYBOARDS anyway. Please help! It is very frustrating and when I don’t catch it, it makes me look like an idiot when sending messages in a professional setting.

Disabling each dictionary individually and all of them collectively had no effect. It doesn't matter which dictionaries are on or off in any configuration. If the previous word is perceived as being Spanish (like the word "due" for some reason) the auto correct will offer "duele" and "duerme" but nothing in English, even though the keyboard as been set to English the whole time, and all dictionaries are off. There must be a way to securely lock the auto-suggestions to only one language when in that language's keyboard mode.
