Let's clarify why we discourage people using MacKeeper.

It is a dodgy App intrusively marketed online. The developers have a practice of trying to either force the software on users or trick them into installing it. And by all accounts it is miserable at what it is supposed to do and causes problems as much as it is supposed to fix them.

So best avoided and suggest you use better Apps for the purpose as recommended above.
