iPad not accepting password

For the past 3 days every time I had to update an app my iPad keeps asking to verify my icloud and my Apple ID password, I know i'm entering it correctly, but it still won't take the password, I've even tried changing the password (5 times in the past 3 days) and that still doesn't work. I can't even reset the device without it asking for the password.

iPad Pro Wi-Fi, iOS 11.2.5

If you’ve changed the account’s password : What to do after you change your Apple ID or password - Apple Support


If you have Find iPad enabled you will be asked for the account’s password to reset the iPad back to factory defaults in order to turn that off
