Imac late 2013 running slow

I have run Etreck as advised in another post.

report below, any advice on how to speed up my iMac to how it was when I purchased it would be appreciated.

I suspect the HD is going, your EtreCheck report looks pretty clean and it has adequate RAM. This leaves hardware, considering the HD is now 5 years old that would be my guess. Take the computer to your local Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider and have it professionally diagnosed and then you will know for sure.

Before you haul it in try disconnecting all external usb devices except your Apple keyboard and reset the SMC 2-3 times How to reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac - Apple Support

Also uninstall the Fitbit software, it's been known to cause slowdowns in the past.

If that doesn't change anything I'd run Apple Diagnostics before making an appointment How to use Apple Diagnostics on your Mac - Apple Support
