macOS Sierra 10.12.6 not support Exchange 2016 with W.Server 2016

I tried to setup the email account to the new IMAC purchase from my boss, but the keep getting an 'Unable to verify account name or password" error. I try to login Outlook Web Access, the login details is correct, but the setup stuck on the path https://owa.test.com/EWS/EXCHANGE.ASMX

Can anyone advise on this?

P/S: The Exchange 2016 with Windows Server 2016

Suddenly on my older Powerbook running High Sierra 10.13.6 App Mail stopped authenticating the MS Exchange Server. Deleting and reinstalling did not fix the problem. The message is Login Failed. I know the info is correct. Apple Mail stopped Logging in to the Exchange Server. I deleted the account. Added it in again, but it still says Login Failed. On an iMac running 10.15.7 the same thing happened. However, on that OS I was able to let Microsoft set up the account and it finally worked. Has Microsoft made changes that no longer allow older Mac OS to Login to Exchange Servers?

Adding email account to mac mail Hi, I am trying to add an email account to my mac mail. I have done the following and I am still getting the following. " Unable to verify account name or password". Not sure why I am dong everything correctly. 1) went to mail 2) selected add account 3) Selected exchange, continue 4) filled in name, email and password, then clicked on signing and then I see the following Unable to verify account name or password I was able to sign in go to microsoft exchange, so I know my email and pw are correct. I was able to get in, so not sure why my mac email is not recognizing it. Can you please help me. Thank you.
