McAffee anti virus

Our internet provider is allowing everyone to install McAfee Anti virus protection for free. Do I need it in addition to what comes on the iMac?

Thank You

NO! Mac OS was designed from it's very onset to be extremely secure and only needs to be kept up-to-date to remain so. Mac OS does NOT benefit in any way from any antivirus, cleaning or any other third party "maintenance" apps. In fact, at best they are worthless and at worst they can damage Mac OS and make the computer unstable.

In short, ignore the ISP's offer!!!!!!!!!!!!!
