Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that when trying to sync your iPhone it becomes stuck finishing sync. I'm happy to help.
First, make sure you have the latest version of iTunes.
Update to the latest version of iTunes
If the issue persists, make sure that you're using an Apple certified cable and try testing in a different USB port. Also, restart your iPhone and computer. Restarting can resolve many unexpected behaviors.
Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If the issue continues, tell us what type of content your trying to sync. Please include any additional troubleshooting steps you may have already tried.
