Can’t record while my iPhone is locked

Since most of y’all know that you can video while your screen is locked, but after updating my phone to iOS 11 it’s not working. When you swipe to the camera while the phone is on lock screen, it seems I can’t touch the record button. Can anyone help me out on this matter? Thanks!

iPhone 7, iOS 11.2.2

I understand from your post that you are not able to activate the video camera when your iPhone is locked. I recommend force closing the camera app and then restarting your iPhone.
