If I recently blocked a contact under messages then had to restore my iPhone to an earlier date when that contact was not blocked is the contact still blocked or do I have to reblock that contact?

Here is how you can check your blocked contacts.

Go to Settings > Messages > Blocked. There, it should list all your blocked contacts. If it only says "Add New...", then you do not have anyone blocked and you will have to re-block the contact.

Hope this helps 🙂
