Should I plug my mouse in every night or is this bad?

It doesn't matter, you can plug it in whenever you want to or need to.

Your mouse will run for about 6 weeks on one full charge. It is always best not to let it go down to less than 10%. What I do is to put a reminder into calendar for the same date each month to charge the mouse that night.
