printer drivers for Epson in High Sierra

Hi,

I try to install my Epson Stylus Photo PX710W printer under High Sierra but I can't find any drivers even if High Sierra should support the printer.

Hello baioule,

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities and asking about the printer driver for your Epson Stylus Photo PX710W printer. This article does in fact show drivers are available in High Sierra for your model of printer: Printer and scanner software for macOS High Sierra, Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, and Mavericks

Please check this article for the way to update the software. If your printer is using AirPrint, or you have the updated file from Epson, the article will assist you. Otherwise, the article states to have your printer connected and check for the update in the App Store: macOS Sierra: Update or change printer software

Update your printer software

If your printer isn’t using AirPrint, you can use Software Update to download the latest software. If you don’t do this, you may see a message that software isn’t available when you connect your printer.

  • Choose Apple menu > App Store, then click Updates.

Install any software updates listed for your printer.

  • If software for your printer isn’t available using Software Update, you can contact the manufacturer for information. It may be that your printer isn’t compatible with macOS. To check, see the Apple Support article Printer and scanner software available for download.

If you install printer software that you didn’t get from Apple, your printer’s software may not be updated automatically when you use Software Update.

I understand the title still shows for macOS Sierra, but the process is the same in High Sierra. Thanks and have a wonderful day.
