Last iCloud backup: never. However the actual backup says it was successful

I use the same Apple ID on all three devices. You can see here what I see when I go into the settings. I cropped one of the devices but that’s my iPad and iPhone.

I see backups, but have no way of knowing which device was last backed up successfully. I know that I can see specific items at the bottom of the settings like Restore Bookmarks or Restore Calendars And Reminders, but I don’t see specific device backups.

Demo, if I can add my two cents...

In addition to what you've correctly suggested to Alwijaya, I have the same issue, and use to backup my iP7 via iTunes, AND partially on iCloud.

To be sure I have my backup well done, I open my PC, visit icloud.com, and open settings... from where I can "see" that the backup is really there... (in spite of what my iphone sometimes says...😉)

I apologize for my intrusion.

Regards

Giulio

I get those same incorrect messages from time to time and I can't explain why. However, they do go away. I will see the next day that the next successful backup took place and the Never message disappears.

I asked the hosts to remove the image that you posted. It has your phone number showing.

Yes. That has been my experience. That doesn’t mean that I am right though.

However, I would keep an eye on it. Keep checking and as long as you see that it is successfully backing up and it shows the time of the last backup, I think you will be OK. But like I said, the Never message should also go away.

I find all things iCloud to be a little flakey. I also backup with iTunes and when I do, I shut off the iCloud backup option until the iTunes backup is done. After I turn the iCloud backup on again, I will sometimes get a message that my iPhone or iPad hasn’t been backed up with iCloud in XX number of weeks which is ridiculous because before I shut off the iCloud backup, I saw that the last backup had indeed taken place successfully hours before or the night before.

Please intrude anytime you have more helpful information. 🙂

Yours is an excellent suggestion as long as one has a computer to use with their iOS device. However, I just tried what you suggested and even though I see all of my devices, and I see backups in Storage, how do I see specific backups for each device in the iCloud settings. Please take us through this step by step.
