why has my macbook pro power charger stopped working?

Thanks. We had already tried the first part but not the second part. We tried a neighbours lead and charger and that worked so Apple have agreed and confirmed we can have a new charger and lead under warranty ( less than 6 months into the warranty period). Hopefully that’s the end of it! Will bear your suggestion in mind if it happens again.
