Dish Anywhere app on iPad doesn't allow me to stream on a video projector anymore. Why?

I have the latest OS update on my iPad and latest DishAnywhere updates installed as well. I use to be able to stream to a video projector but now my DishAnywhere app says I cannot watch video while screen is being captured. Does anyone have any answers? An older iPad with older software can stream on a projector with the DishAnywhere app. Please help!

iPad Air Wi-Fi, iOS 11.2.5, DishAnywhere app update 1.27.18

You would need to take that up with Dish. Going by what you’ve said it seems an anti piracy thing isn’t taking into account people watching their iPad on their tv.

There may be a work around or a setting, or it may be the new normal

Newest update has fixed this iOS 11.2.6

So update and you’ll be fine. Had the same issue

I have the same problem with a new iPad and 11.2.5. Trying to connect Dish Anywhere to a new Samsung TV.
