remove person from group text messages?

Question

remove person from group text messages?

How do I remove a person from group text messages? Ive added a person to a group that needs to be removed and I see no way to remove or delete from iMac or iPhone.

Hello,

Remove a person

Tap the group conversation that has the contact you want to remove.
Tap , then swipe left over the name of the person you want to remove.
Tap Delete, then tap Done.

You can’t add or remove people from group MMS messages or group SMS messages.

Yep...its a SMS and MMS in the iPhone options. So I guess I need to delete the group message and start over. Thanks

It does not give me that option from iPhone or High Sierra. I can click the "I" and see the people in the group, but there's no slide to delete...only the option to go into my contacts for each person.
