Lately, I have not been receiving text messages on my iPhone from my husband, who also has an iPhone. I am getting some of his messages, but some do not show up at all. I am receiving text messages from others, but who knows if I have missed some.
Are there any trouble shooting tips?
iPhone 6, iOS 8.3
There are a few:
Do not share Apple ID.
Make sure you are connected to the Internet using Wi-Fi/Cellular data.
Update your iPhone to iOS 11.2.5

Scaremongering doesn't help anyone. If you're having a problem with WiFi and cellular service on your phone, you should start your own thread. What you're experiencing is not something most people are seeing when they update.

When I am at home, I have been turning off my iPhone wifi and cellular. I thought that my home Internet might improve if I didn't have all of my devices connected to the wifi. I just turned on the wifi and cellular, and received the missing messages.

Sorry, I don't agree. All my Macs and devices are running on Wi-Fi and cellular

You shouldn't have to turn Wi-Fi Off at home.
Note: Download content (music/books/apps) > 150 MB needs Wi-fi as well, otherwise it will not work.
