Cannot connect to web host thru Finder>Go>Connect to Server

I have been trying to publish my children's iweb site from our iMac to our host server. Each time I try to connect following Finder>Go> Connect to Server, I get a message box " You cannot connect to this server because it cannot be found on the network. Try again later or try a different URL." I can connect to the same server from my Macbook. What is the problem?

Imac G5, Mac OS X (10.3.9), 256 ram 80 GB ATA 15GB free space

Hi,

I'm not sure how your network is configured, so understanding the problem is difficult... Are you connecting via FTP? Do you have parental controls on your children's machine that could be preventing you from connecting to the server?

Thanks for your suggestions. We're not connecting through ftp and the child controls are not on. Thanks anyway.

You'll need an FTP client (file server transfer) to upload files from your Mac to your child's Web Site.
You can enable FTP transfer via the "Share" System Preferences.
