How can I type in Logic Symbols?

How can I type in Logic Symbols?

I am a Logic teacher hoping to be able to type in the various logic symbols in my hand-outs, saving the time of hand-writing them in. Any ideas?

Imac, Mac OS X (10.2.x)

When you think logic, think Math; when you think Math (in AppleWorks), think Equation Editor.

You should be able to insert the needed logic symbols as easily as inserting a Mathematical expression or equation (from the Edit menu).

Welcome to Apple Discussions, ddkatya!

My father was a logic teacher for a long time (now retired). He decided it was easier to use TextEdit and get the full range of unicode characters. AW can't use unicode, so it is somewhat less flexible if you ar using the built-in fonts.
