Apple TV has sound but no picture

Since my apple tv got updated yesterday to ios 11.2.6 I cannot mirror/airdrop videos in Safari from my mini ipad or iphone... all sound goes through, video keeps playing on the ipad/iphone. I’ve reset the apple tv but nothing changes. Really anoying as it is the main use i have of the apple tv!

Anyone has an advice?

if its only in the movies and not an issue in say youtube and normal mirror then likely it's the app which block it

developers of apps can choose to block airplay if they so choose

That will happen when a developer hasn't enabled airplay, specifically blocked it or there's a glitch. If it's a glitch then it's still up to them to fix it.

If you're using airplay see above, if mirroring then it's not the same issue and best to start a new thread
