how to use a windows bitlocker encrypted portable hard disk on macbook

I have a WD My Passport portable hard disk that is formatted to FAT 32 to allow me to access files on both Mac and Windows. However, I recently changed job, and at work the Microsoft Windows computer I now use required me to encrypt the portable disk with Windows Bitlocker. I am now unable to access the files on my portable hard disk at home on my MacBook Pro. Does anyone know a work around for this? I understand there may be a software platform I can download onto my MacBook to allow me to access the files.

Thanks

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013)
