Web Page Widget on Dashboard Broken

I was on an academic website article but had limited time access. I then added a web page widget of this onto my dashboard. However, once my access to the web page had gone, the widget turned black and stopped working. Whenever I go onto my dashboard now, I am automatically redirected to the webpage that I no longer have access to, and so I can't really use the dashboard at the moment.

Is there any way of deleting the web page widget without actually going onto the dashboard/resetting the dashboard?

Thanks for any help in advance 🙂

I don't really understand your question.

  • "Is there any way of deleting the web page widget without actually going on to the dashboard?" No. Why would you want to do this? I will explain how to delete the widget in a moment.
  • "Is there any way of deleting the web page widget without actually resetting the dashboard?" Certainly. You do not need to reset the dashboard to simply remove one widget.

To delete the web page widget, simply go to the dashboard, click on the "-" in the lower left, then choose the widget you wish to delete and select the "X" in its upper left corner.
