MacBook Pro, macOS High Sierra (10.13.3)
Exactly what year/model is the older one? There are some older models which will require an install DVD as they are not capable of using internet recovery (which is what you need to reset it: if you erase the drive and then reinstall the OS, it will reinstall the original OS it came with).
