"Apple Mobile Device Service" Missing

Apple Mobile Device Service is missing in my PC's service list. I tried uninstall and reinstall with the newest version of iTunes, but it doesn't work at all. How do I install this service?

iPhone 5s, iOS 11.2.1

I understand from your post that you do not see the Apple Mobile Device Service on your Windows PC. The following article has steps to help reinstall this driver:

If iTunes doesn't recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod - Apple Support

If you use a Windows PC

Follow these steps to reinstall the Apple Mobile Device USB driver:

  1. Disconnect your device from the computer.
  2. Reconnect your device. If iTunes opens, close it.
  3. Press the Windows and R key on your keyboard to open the Run command.
  4. In the Run window, enter:
    %ProgramFiles%\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
  5. Click OK.
  6. Right-click on the
    usbaapl64.inf
    or
    usbaapl.inf
    file and select Install.
