how do i change my browser on my MacBook back to the original top sites?

hi, I’m here asking how to change my MacBook browser back to the original top site. I tried searching on the internet for the website url since I’m trying to put it in the url section for the homepage. I’ve gotten the new page/tab to go to the top sites, but I haven’t figured out how to do that with the beginning homepage when you first click the safari icon. Thanks for any help!

If you want Safari to go directly to the Top Sites when you open it,

Safari Preferences:

Safari opens with: A new window

New windows open with: Top Sites

Ignore the Home Page preference

If you want Safari to go somewhere else (any website you choose) when you open it, navigate to the website that you want to use as your home page and then

Safari Preferences:

Safari opens with: A new window

New windows open with: Home Page

Click the "Set to Current Page" button under Home Page and it will automatically fill in the URL from the page that you navigated to.
