Audio from the front camera's video keeps changing volume level

Audio from the front camera's video keeps changing volume level. At the start of the video, the audio is just fine then after a second the audio suddenly sounds muffled and you can really hear the sudden change of the volume from high to low. But when I use a 3rd part app to record video like Instagram, the audio is just fine. Maybe this is a software issue? I really need some help guys.

iPhone 6s, iOS 11.2.5

Hey Jay-v1993,

If I understand correctly, the audio on a video you record will change the volume level. If you use another app to do the same thing the recorded volume is normal. It sounds like this may be a software issue. One thing you could do is backup your device to keep the data secure and reinstall iOS. The 2nd article is intended to be for a different issue but following steps 1-5 will help you reinstall iOS without erasing data.
