Firewall switch is greyed out

The firewall switch is OFF and I can't enable the switch, because the switch is greyed out.

I want to know, which command/feature/settings is able to grey out this switch permanent.

And then I know how to reenable this switch.

If your company manages the Mac, there is nothing you can do to alter that. You have to have them allow it in the profile or configuration management system they use.

If there was a method to bypass the configuration management, it wouldn't be much of a configuration management tool.

I was able to solve the problem.

Sometimes Google is a better friend than your IT Department.

These pages have all information to know how to re-enable the firewall.

When the company installs a new MacBook, they do some settings, e.g. some "defaults" commands.

There is no Client application (Configuration Management Tool) running on the Mac to monitor if the settings are still active. To change the settings, this is a one time job.

So, the question still keeps.

What is the command, to permanent grey out the "Firewall" Switch in Mac OS Settings.

There must be a way to change this "grey OFF/ON" setting. This could not be a rocket science.
