Apple accessories - including the Apple iPhone Smart Battery Case - are covered under Apple's Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, but not against accidental damage or misuse.
If you believe that the case was defective, then contact Apple Support (mail-based service / replacement may be available, if required), make a Genius Bar reservation or visit an Apple Authorised Service Provider with a view to having it inspected and, if eligible, replaced under warranty:
