I have a iPhone 6s I am locked out of it, it tells me to connect to iTunes

I tried that, and it wont connect to iTunes!!....... what do I do next???

If iTunes doesn't recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod - Apple Support

Before you get into those suggestions, I would try restarting everything first. Restart the phone, quit iTunes and reboot your computer. If that doesn’t help, go through the steps in the support article.
