I need to delete a secondary email on my account, but I'm only given the option to add more when I click edit. I don't have the password to the account associated with the second email, so I can't just log out of my device with that apple ID. Is there any way I can do this instead of deleting my whole account?

Have you tried -- If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support. Do you know who this "secondary email" belongs to? Was it yours previously?
I know who the email belongs to, but I don’t have a way of contacting them for the password.
Unfortunately without that password associated with that Apple ID, you will not, and cannot, logout of the device. Does the device have an Activation Lock on it?
