A new problem related to a recent update?
When using my mouse (track pad) to hover over a linked button (e.g. email : Send, or a hyperlinked URL in an article) it performs the click action without me actually clicking!
How to stop this?

Also double check your Trackpad preferences to make sure "Tap to Click" hasn't been enabled.
Restart the computer holding down the command - option/alt - P - R keys before the gray screen appears. Continue to hold until you hear the startup chime for the second time. You may need to do this 2-3 times.
Try a SMC reset. The article covers when this is required, but doing this will not affect anything.
