YouTube adding saturation and darkening my video after upload
Hello Group.
I'm uploading videos to YouTube only to find that Youtube is adding terrible amounts of saturation and darkening the video from the original video exported from Final Cut Pro.
I'm editing 4k footage and exporting a 1080, 29.97 timeline, using .h264 as the share setting out of Final Cut Pro 10.4. The video is 4 minutes in length and 450 mb in size (after .h264 exported file). I uploaded directly to YouTube and it's saturated and darker. I also tried to compress the uncompressed file using Handbrake and Mpeg Streamclip and came out with the same results. I don't own compressor, but maybe that is the way to go, I used to use compressor 3 with FCP7 before I upgraded almost 2 years ago now. These are important client projects and it is unbelievably frustrating and I'm not finding any information online as to how to trouble shoot this. I see that others are experiencing the same issue with no fix or solution.
Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you!
