Does anyone know how many real life minutes equate to an Apple chat "less than 10 minutes" wait? Because I'm coming up on 45 real world minutes, waiting to ask why 11.2.5 has turned my phone into a dark unhappy thing.

Welcome to the days of battery replacement calls flooding in by the masses ;o ....
I've been scheduling callbacks since Black Friday hit.
It's so much nicer having them call me back.
I have used chat at times but mostly for iTunes issues.
I get a bit ancy on hold calling anywhere so this works well for me.
One possible option to consider. I really like this option instead.

Thanks-I was hoping to get some guidance tonight, as need the phone for work tomorrow; but I will have to try to schedule a call-back. I think the answer is just going to be plug it in, reboot often, wait for 11.3. And all the FUN that one brings.
