Ethernet adapter doesn't want to wake up after sleep

Hi,

I bought this https://www.alza.sk/premiumcord-usb-3-1-type-c-usb-c-3-portovy-d4049225.htm piece of hardware in a local store, everything works fine with my macbook pro, when it is on.

When it comes to "deeper sleep" (i mean this doesnt happen when i lock it), adapter's usb ports work fine, but not the ethernet port. The only thing to get it to work is to unplug and replug it (not my ethernet cable from the adapter, but the adapter itself). Mac can recognise this adapter, but doesn't seem to care about the ethernet. It might be some hardware problem of mac i suppose, but not sure how to solve this. If there is any command for reconnecting all of the devices connected, it would come in handy. Or maybe changing some setting for not forgetting about my peripherals.

Thank you!

Same problem on a 2016 MacBook Pro with Touchbar under the original Sierra OS release using an AUKEY CB-C17 (3 * USB-3.0 plus 1000baseTX Ethernet).

This was fixed with a later Sierra version, but the problem re-appeared under High Sierra.

So it must be possible to correctly re-activate the Ethernet function on wake up, since it worked for a while ...
