Mistake buying an app

Hi there, I got a redeem code for Logic Pro from my employer. I went to the app store and thought I first had to choose BUY and then fill in the redeem code. Stupid, 'cause it's the other way around. Now it seems that I'm forced to pay for this application, even though I have a valid redeem code available. Any chance of turning back time?
