I had all 3 kids using my Apple ID until today. They are each establishing their own Apple ID. We have had Apple Music as well and they each have several playlists with lots of songs. After sending them invites with family sharing, they no longer have their playlists. Is there a way they can get them without having to recreate from scratch?

I see that your children were using your Apple ID, but now they have their own. Since that time, you've also started Family Sharing so that can also use your Apple Music Family subscription. The issue is, they've lost access to playlists they've created and you'd like to know how to get those back. I'm happy to help.
Create and share playlists -- If they created those playlist using your Apple ID, see if the playlists are available to you and share them with your family. If you're unable to locate the playlists, they'll need to be recreated.

Make a playlist public
When you create a playlist, make sure to turn on "Show on My Profile and in Search" to make your playlist public. When you make a playlist public, people can find it using Search.
Send a playlist to a friend
You can send your playlists to friends through Messages, Mail, Twitter, Facebook, using AirDrop, and more. To share a playlist, find the playlist that you want to share, then follow these steps:
- On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: Tap
, then Share Playlist

- On your Mac or PC: Click
, then Share Playlist.
- On your Android phone, tap the Share icon
to see your sharing options.
When you choose how you want to share your playlist, a new window opens in the app that you chose and a link to your playlist appears. In some apps, you can add a message before sending your playlist.
