Just ran EtreCheck and it identified the following
Unknown file: /Library/LaunchDaemons/homebrew.mxcl.stunnel.plist
/usr/local/bin/stunnel
One possible adware file found. [Remove/Report]
I have no idea if this is adware and if not and I remove it - is it vital to the system and its removal will be detrimental ?

Thanks for the swift response- yes , no problem to remove the Etrecheck will remove it but asks three time if I am sure as if it is vital ( which is what I dont know) removing could be an even bigger problem.
thank you - just looked at the site and have no idea why I would have connected to that - I do not have the knowledge required to even ascertain whether or not there would be value in such downloads compared to the potential harm and agrivation it would cause both me and the computer. I shall have it removed. thanks
