Logic Pro X- single note sustaining in midi software instruments

While I'm playing a midi controller using software instruments, I'm having random single notes ring out for no apparent reason, while the rest of the keys play normally. Sometimes it's the B key, sometimes the E or F(it keeps switching.)

If I change the software instrument it will go away for a minute, but then it returns. I've tried a different keyboard/controller and it's the same thing. I have also tried this in Garage Band and it's doing the same thing.

Please help!!!
