What is “Text Input app”?

What is “Text Input app”?

I read lots of older posts regarding this data storage app and many seemed misinformed that it had something to do with keyboard shortcuts. Just my opinion-but I would not be surprised to find that it is apples stealth keystroke recorder to have record of every illegal or punishable text that you type into a text. Don’t any of you watch tv?

As stated in your original post. It is a system-generated file for your text shortcuts. That is not misinformation, that is what it is. And it is so minuscule that it is not something that should be keeping you up at night....

Well then, yes I would like a straight answer on exactly what is the purpose of the “textinput” app or data file or iCloud file? I have iOS 11.2
