facebook messenger wont load on my Apple Watch

Hey!! I just got my watch and had the same problem. I tried everything until I verified my phone number on the messenger app on my iPhone and then the app started working on my Apple Watch!! Hope this helps you.

I have been trying for hours to figure out how to fix this. Days where I don’t touch it because it just ****** me off. But I just got mine to work and I hope this will work for other people. It’s something that I haven’t seen anywhere else. I went into Facebook messenger and searched myself and sent myself a message and voilà I don’t know how it worked but my Facebook messenger on my watch is officially working after over a month of just seeing a spinning circle.

I went under the messenger settings and re typed my phone number and that worked for me

went into the Messenger app on the phone and to my profile and tapped on my phone number and that was it. Verified.

Is there any news regarding the messenger problem? I’ve just bought my Apple Watch 3 and the messenger app doesn’t work. I tried everything including unpair-pai, pair with an other iphone, reset, reboot, update :( I’m so said. Please help me

Hi, I’ve got the same problem with my Apple Watch 1. Messenger won’t load and this is infinite circle turnin around anytime !! I have trying all tricks but unable to be ok... you can just reply to a new message...

so do you think this problem is bevause of the messenger app? I bought my watxh yesterday and it was able to show the new messages but not the olders. Because of the recommendations I downloaded the newest version if ios and watchos and aftef this the messenger doesn’t work at all. No new messages anymore :(

I have tried everything! I really don't think verifying your number or adding quick replies fixes it. I believe it is the Facebook Messenger app itself! It ***** cause I use the app more than anything. All we can do it wait for FB messenger to update and fix this crappy issue. I have sent them a couple complaints, I am sure a lot more people have, maybe they will fix it asap! I have the series 3 watch.

Still not working. This is not your Apple Watch, this is just this crappy messenger App.. I don’t understood why they do not update to solve it. Boring.
