I cannot send a text from my iPad Pro to a non apple device. I have tried everything I know and still no luck. Please help. PS; I do not use iCloud And do not have an iCloud account In case you need to know that to problem solve.
iPad Pro Wi-Fi, iOS 11.2.5, Not a cellular device
A Wifi only iPad cannot natively send SMS messages to a non Apple Devices.
If you have an iPhone that's using the same Apple ID as the iPad, then you can use Continuity to send SMS messages from the iPad through the iPhone to non Apple devices.

If you don't have an iPhone, then you need an SMS messaging app that will usually assign a number to your iPad you can SMS from. Look in the App Store for them.

Note: Text (SMS) is piggyback on a voice line of a phone. iPad do not have a voice line.
