Apple Keyboard Diagram?

Is there an annotated diagram of the Apple Keyboard in existance? I've tried searching the Internet but can't find anything.

I want a diagram that shows what all the keys do and mean in OS X. In particular I want a diagram that makes it very clear what the Control, Option, and Command keys are.

In case you are a little perplexed about how to use the Keyboard Viewer, here are the instructions from Mac Help in the Help Menu of the Finder;
About Keyboard Viewer
Use Keyboard Viewer to see the layout of characters on your keyboard for your chosen language. For example, if U.S. is selected in the Input menu, you see the characters that appear on a U.S. keyboard in Keyboard Viewer.
To access Keyboard Viewer:
1. Choose Apple menu > System Preferences and click International.
2. Click Input Menu, then select the checkbox next to Keyboard Viewer.
3. Select the On checkbox next to the language whose keyboard layout you want to use.
4. Choose Show Keyboard Viewer from the Input menu on the right side of the menu bar (the one that looks like a flag).
You can use Keyboard Viewer to see and type characters used in alternate languages other than your chosen language.

Yes, that Apple Human Interface Guidelines article was the most useful. Thanks for that.

I still find it hard to believe that no-one has ever made an annotated diagram of the Apple Keyboard. That's weird. How are you supposed to know what all the keys do when you get a new Apple Mac? How would a Windows user know that the key with the little Apple icon on it is called the Command key?
