Setting up the printer for AirPrint
My Canon AirPrint enabled printer requires my location longitude and latitude to get set up. Is this a Canon specific requirement or AirPrint specific?
iPhone 7, iOS 11.2.1, 256 GB
My HP AirPrint capable printer does not.
I cannot imagine Apple requiring lat & ***. It is way too technical a thing for Apple’s simplify the interface approach to computing.
But if you need lat & ***, the iPhone Compass app can give provide that information.
