Up Date

I have a 7 year old iMac that is running on 10 . 7 . 5. Would it be ok to up grade it to mac 05 Hight Sierra, would it still run ok?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

if it only has 4GB or less it will be slow
