I found that my 4G signal sign to the top right corner sometime shrink in size and result to have a reboot to fix it. I do not know how it happen since its randomised appearence. Would like to see if anyone having this issues as well. Thanks all for your help.

Yes, is a shrinking issue 🙂 The signal strength bar does not SHRINK in size because you have less bars. The icon size usually is the same.
Here you can clearly see the problem. AIRPLANE MODE ON / OFF solves the issue.

The size is an indication of the strength of your cellular signal. The number of bars illuminated will shrink if the signal is weaker.
I think you're asking about the "4G" number and letter themselves.
I don't think they shrink. Perhaps they do based on what else needs to fit in the small space in the upper right of the iPhone X.
But whether they shrink or not, I certainly recommend not being concerned about it at all.

You do not appear to have any "shrinking issue".
The size of your bars, and the digits in the time, appear the same on all your screen shots.
What is different is the number of bars highlighted for your cellular signal. This is exactly what I addressed in my first response above.
thank for you guys respond. and yes. it happen only on the home screen. not inside any application. totally easy to notify when pull down the command center half way which can see the shrinking happen. And yes again. stop start the mobile signal can fix it. It also fix itself when the signal sign changed for example say 4G to 3G and back to 4G. However, it will come back again randomly.

by meaning the 4G signal sign. i really mean the “4G” symbol alone. not including the battery symbol and those indication bars
I have the same shrinking issue. It happends on a random basis and a reset fix it. Only on springboard. Not on apps. I attached screenshots on the post above.
AIRPLANE MODE also fix it for me :)
