Poping/static using external DAC/amp on iPhone X

Hi, I plugged my creative sound blaster E5 into my iPhone X today using the lighting to usb connection. It works great but every 10 seconds or so there’s a loud pop and burst of static. This is only happening on my iPhone, the DAC works fine on my computer. I found a old thread with similar issues but a resolution was never mentioned https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7685241

Issue with Ipad Pro USB-C dongle to lighting headphones I have an ipad pro with usb-c port. My Bose Quiet Comfort headphones have a lightning connector (noise cancelling, self powered with a battery). I bought a dongle that is USB-C male to lightning female so they are connected. When play anything on the ipad, sound still comes only from ipad speaker just as if nothing at all was plugged into the UBC-C port at all? Any ideas please? thanks in advance.

iPad Pro 11 inch will not play High Audio Quality even with External DAC Hi All, I have an iPad Pro 11 Inch and I wanted to use it for headphone testing and possibly reviews. I have two external DACs (IFI Hip DAC and Schiit Fulla 2). I've purchased the USB C to USB A cable from the Apple store but still the iPad will not play Audio quality higher than 96khz. Does anyone know if it's possible to fix this? Thanks, Mitchilled

Apple Music Hi-Res Does anyone know of *any* way to output Apple Hi-Res Lossless to external speakers? From what I've read so far (e.g. https://www.marcoklobas.net/sharing/Apple-Music.png), the only thing that *might* work is a direct Lightening to DAC physical connection. And I've tried this, but my DAC (a Cambridge DACMagic) is reading 48kHz, which is too low (according to my iPhone it should be 96 for the particular piece I was playing). If I need some other DAC, does anyone know of a DAC that definitely works? This has turned into one very weird rabbit hole.
