Why are all my tabs titles blank?

I opened Safari yesterday, and all the web pages load fine, but the tabs across the top are blank (instead of having the webpage title). When I minimize and hover the cursor over it, it says "untitled." Why is this like this, and how do I fix it?

Safari doesn't open a webpage or isn’t working as expected Why can't Safari even do the simplest things like stock plots on CNBC? Seriously besides the annoying grey theme in the tabs that don't have any contrast to see what is open Apple can't even design a web browser that works on certain mainstream sites! Safari not working properly I am unable to access any options of safari which includes preferences, setting, history even about section also. Inspite of all this it is also giving problems while opening a link in new tab or while closing the safari window.Nothing is responding. I am unable to understand the cause of the problem. Any suggestions what and why it could be behaving in such a way?

1. Click  in the menu bar and choose “Force Quit”.

In the window that opens up, select “Safari” and click “Force Quit".

2. Relaunch Safari holding the shift key down.
