Apple Music on Lock Screen

I have an iPhone 6S and recently upgraded to iOS 11.2.5. A few days ago the apple music window started appearing on my lock screen. I've tried everything I can think of to get rid of it: I closed all my apps, I disabled apple music notifications, I turned my phone off and on, I resent my lock screen wallpaper, and I even deleted apple music and re-installed it and nothing seems to work. I've read previous posts and I get the impression that this must be a glitch with the most recent iOS? Any help or suggestions? Is Apple working on a fix for this?
